Baked Tofu

Serves 4
Best eaten cold!

1 1/2 pkg extra firm tofu
1/3 c shoyu
3 T maple syrup or honey
3 T ketchup
1 1/2 T vinegar
1 garlic clove minced
1/4 t pepper
1/2 t liquid smoke flavoring

Slice tofu and press water out.  Cut into cubes.  
Mix shoyu, syrup, ketchup, vinegar.  Stir in remaining ingredients.  Marinate tofu at least 30 min.  Place tofu on baking sheet in a single layer.  Bake at 375 for 30-45 minutes, turning half way.
